Discriminatory Covenants were embedded by attorneys in legal documents, such as deeds, development agreements and plats, to prevent homeownership among Black Minnesotans and other communities of color. Private lawyers and city attorneys, we need your skills to help discharge these deeds and acknowledge this shameful history and the present-day repercussions.
